Robert Feake

Lt. ROBERT FEAKE, son of Judith Thomas and James Feake, was born about 1602 in London, England[2]. Robert served in the military of Massachusetts Bay Colony forces as a Lt. between 1632 and 1636[4]. He died on 1 February 1660/1661 at the age of 57 in Watertown, Middlesex, Massachusetts [1].

1631, May 18 - made Freeman

1632, Sept 4 - appointed by court a Lieutenant under Capt. Daniel Patrick

1634 - representative at first Court

1638, Nov 23 - signed original covenant of Dedham, Massachusetts

1639, Aug 7 - sold homestead there, house and 10 acres, in Dedham "of Watertown" to Thomas Bright for 60 pounds.

1640 - Selectman

1640 - w/Capt Daniel Patrick, purchase of Greenwich, Connecticut.

1660/1, Apr 1- Died at the home of Samuel Thacher, who disposed of his estate to defray expenses.

Trumbull, in Hist. of Conn. I. 118, names him among purch. of Greenwich 1640; but his resid. was at W. where he was sev. yrs. depriv. of reason, and d. 1 Feb. 1663. His inv. was tak. 18th of same, and amt. was only £9.9.2."
