    Robert Crichton of Kinnoull was the son of Sir Robert Crichton, 1st Lord Crichton of Sanquhar and Margaret Hay.1 A contract for the marriage of Robert Crichton of Kinnoull and Lady Marion Stuart was signed on 8 May 1472.1 He died from February 1483/84 to February 1491/92.1
