Robert Crichton, 2nd Lord Crichton of Sanquhar was the son of Robert Crichton of Kinnoull and Lady Marion Stuart.1 He married Marion Maxwell circa 1491.1 He died between 13 July 1513 and 6 November 1513, probably killed Flodden on 9 September 1513.1
He succeeded to the title of 2nd Lord Crichton of Sanquhar [S., 1488] circa February 1494/95.1
