    Richard M Green is the 6th of 9 children born to Richard Green (1728-1778) and Mary Rankins Green (circa 1730-1780) of King George County, Virginia(Will of Richard Green available upon request). Mary's parents mentions her in their Will.. The Will of Robert Rankins, copy available upon request.

    The Will of Richard Green Sr. mentions Richard was given 5 shillings where the majority of the property went to his older brothers Charles, Moses and William Green.

    Richard M Green married Priscilla Reynolds on Novemeber 6, 1790 at the Old Sweds Church in Bedford County, Pennsylvania.

    Between 1790-1795 Richard took his family to Louisiana. 7 years after the death of his wife Priscilla, Richard marries the widow Sarah Wyche in 1828, where soon after he continues on to Texas following his sons Reason and Benjamin. We don't know what happened to Sarah.
