Deltargentino which sailed from Buenos Aires, Brazil on June 6, 1941 and arrived in New Orleans, LA on June 20, 1941. He is listed as age 26, single, born June 21, 1915 in Chicago, Ill. His home address listed as 3804 East 55th St, Maywood, California.

He remained in the merchant marine and served on the S.S. York as First Engineer from 4/4/44 when engaged in San Pedro. The ship left Cuyacao, Dec 10, 1944 and arrived in New York Dec 16, 1944. The manifest stated that he would be discharged in NY, he was age 28, 5'8" and 170 lbs. However he remained on the S.S. York and arrived back in New York on Jan 17, 1945 from Liverpool, England.
