8 May 1809: Approved "The petition of Ithamar Beard, Jonathan Manning and Samuel Tredwell, Overseers of the poor of the town of Littleton in said County. Humbly showeth that Rhoda Reed of Littleton aforesaid spinster lately the wife of Timothy Lawrence late of said Littleton now lives in said town of Littleton and is an inhabitant thereof and by reason of divers infirmities has become non compos mentis and incapable of taking care of her self.
23 May 1809: Rhoda Reed "does not appear nor give any answer", divers witnesses are examined upon oath, Rhoda Reed is non compos mentis needing a guardian.
23 May 1809: Memorial of David Lawrence of Littleton desires to be guardian of "Rhoda Reed of said Littleton spinster late the wife of Timothy Lawrence of said Littleton & now removed".

9 Jan 1817: "Rhoda Reed of Littleton ... wife of Timothy Lawrence deceased" says David "has hitherto altogether neglected to exhibit or settle any account of his proceedings in his said office of guardian, and that said Rhoda further shows that she is now restored to the use of her rational faculties."
27 Jan 1817: Accounting of David Lawrence approved.
27 Jan 1817: Rhoda Reed "is restored to the use of her rational faculties; It is therefore decreed that the said David be & he is hereby according dismissed from his said office of guardian"
