    [One would assume October is the correct month, and the gravestone was either misread or is in error. However, closer inspection shows the Church Records are out of order, and the burial, allegedly 11 Oct, falls between records for 16 Oct and 2 Dec where on would expect to find a November record. So there is doubt about which is correct.]

Esq'r", dated 30 Sep 1790, proved 8 Dec 1790, mentions wife Sarah Reed ("what is Coming to her out of her Hon'd Father Jonathan Lawrance Estate"), "Eldest Daughter Sarah Lawra[n]ce", son Jonathan [under 21], daughter Rhoda Reed, daughter Anna Whelor, daughter Mary Printice, wife and son Jonathan executors.
    29 Nov 1790: "heirs at Law of Jonathan Reed late of Littleton ... are fully satisfied" with his will. Signed Timothy Lawrance, Sarah Lawrance, Thomas Wheeler, Anna Wheeler, Rhoda Reed, Mary Prentiss, Jon'a Reed.
    6 Dec 1790: Inventory, sworn to by Sarah Read Executrix 8 Dec 1790.
