Rhoda Gunn was the wife of Silas Walbridge. It's not certain, but it's likely, this is the Rhoda Gunn he married.

Rhoda's nephews, Moses (1784) and Charles (1780), may have joined her in Bennington, and her brother Moses also. It's significant, too, that cousin Azubah Smith (of Sheffield) ends up in Rutland, Vermont, and she names one of her daughters Rhoda.

The tomb of Mrs. Silas Walbridge in the cemetery at Bennington Centre bears the following inscription: "In memory of Mrs Rhoda Walbridge wife of Mr Silas Walbridge who died Jan. 14, 1830 in the 69th year of her age"
