Not to be confused with the Rebekah Robertson that married Meshack Turner. This Rebekah Robertson, daughter of James and Rebeckah Robertson married Thomas Paxton, as proven in "Henderson vs. Robertson", Bill - Chancery Court Amherst County, Virginia 1809.

Rebecca Robertson signed for her portion of her Mother Rebeckah Robertson's estate, given to her brother Thomas Robertson, on 6 May 1785. Since her husband Thomas Paxton did not also sign this receipt, it is possible that he had died prior to this date [additional research necessary]

May the 6th 1785 Received of Thomas Robertson two pounds eight shillings, it being full satisfaction left to me by my Mother. I say Rec’d by me.
