Edmund Singleton,Robert Hood and William Jackson, all respectable citizens of theDistrict of Pendleton, made oath that they are acquainted with ThomasCooper and that he was a poor man. 27 Oct 1819. Thomas Cooperappeared and made oath that on or about 1 August 1776 at Henry CountyCourt House in the State of Virginia, he enlisted in Capt. Nath.Reid's company of the 14th Regiment commanded by Col.
