[77] 1674.
Rebeckah Allin daughter of Joseph and Annah allin deceassed the 30 of January.
[Note: Source:Bent, Allen Herbert. Walter Allen of Newbury, Mass., 1640, and Some of His Descendants, p. 5, interprets Rebecca's dates as "b. 1670; d. 1675". Normally, one would interpret January of 1674 to be January 1674/75, but some doubt is created in this case because the death is recorded immediately below the birth of Anna on 22 Aug 1674. The records appear to be ordered chronologically as they were recorded. So it seems probable that the two records were recorded at the same time. If recorded at the time of the birth, in Aug 1674, the death would have had to been 30 Jan 1673/74 to be known in August. If the death was truly 30 Jan 1674/75, this would indicate the birth wasn't recorded until at least 5 months after it occurred. Earlier records on the same page have dates as late as 22 Dec 1674, indicating that these two events weren't recorded until 1675 sometime, so the latter case is correct, and 1674/75 is indeed the correct interpretation.]
