Raymond Gerald Schoonover 'Jere' was the third child of Charles Edward and Viola Marie Sims Schoonover. He died of cancer at the age of of 72 at his home in La Habra, California. The funeral service was held at Rose Hills Memorial Park in the Hillside Chapel, May 31, 1995 and was cremated the following day, his son Jerry Lee took his ashes and had them buried in Enid Oklahoma with his parents.
