I have copies of his birth certificate, his will and death certificate. I have a picture of him with a school class where he was the teacher with the date 1916. Naomi Lowe found him in an Educational Directory for 1913-1914 at a Nixon School in Franklin District Marshall Co. West Virginia. This was a one room school. We are guessing that he may have still taught in that school in the school year 1915/16. He was in the army at Fort Meade shortly after that. I have his discharge paper. When he was first married, he and Mayme lived in a furnished apartment at 1105 E. Capital St., Washington, D.C.
