    Keeler, Ralph. He settled in Hartford by 1640; went with first settlers to Norwalk. He m. (2) about 1663, Sarah, widow of Henry Whelpley, and formerly widow of Edward Treadwell. She m. (4) Thomas Skidmore of Fairfield, and d. late in 1684. Will 20 Aug. 1672; aged 59; wife Sarah; eldest son Ralph; sons John, Samuel; youngest son Jonah; daus. Rebecca, Elizabeth; friends Daniel Kellogg and John Bouton, Sr., overseers. Inv. Sept. 1672. Thomas Morehouse m. eldest dau., not mentioned in will; Court ordered share paid to her.

Hartford 1639; "granted a lot at the town courtesie"; his home lot was on what is now the West Park, north of the present site o£ the Capitol; he was chimney viewer 1645; one of the signers of the agreement for planting Norwalk June 1650 and there 1652; freeman 1668; died 1672 between Aug 20 and Sept 10.
