    Abstract:

    Rachel Jane Debolt; born 13 July 1857 at Meyico [sic], Wyandotte Co., Ohio; died 16 April 1924 at home, Roxbury, Ks.; moved with her parents 1 Sept. 1865 to Effingham Co., Ill.

    She married 4 Feb. 1879 at Mason, Ill., to J. J. Writer; moved 1885 to McPherson Co., Ks. She was a member of M. E. church from about age 16 until death; member of the Easter Star, Canton, Ks.; member of the Degree of Honor, Roxbury.

    Survived by husband; daughter, Mrs. Bessie Tolle (Roxbury); daughter, Mrs. Jean Bremen (Roxbury); son, Robert Writer (Naches, Wash.); son, Ross Writer (Amy, Ks.); 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

    Funeral services at 2 p.m. Saturday, 19 April 1924, at home, and at 2:30 p.m. at the M. E. church, with Rev. Poole and Rev. Groves officiating. Interment in Roxbury Cemetery.
