  2. No birth record for Polly or any of her siblings is found, as discussed here. One would expect this family to have a daughter named after the mother, and the process of elimination leaves her as the Polly Moore of Warwick who married Samuel Belding. The deeds posted on Samuel's page show a close connection with John Moore (though no relationship is explicitly documented in the deeds), and in particular, a deed selling land to Samuel where Samuel now lives, sounds like a family relationship. The History of Northfield says Samuel settled in Boston, and he died in 1852 as a widower, so the death of Mary Belding in 1840 with an appropriate age seems like a probable match. John Moore left no probate. But this is clearly speculative.
