  5.   Family notes, in Sources needed.

Polly Brooks Hall and her family lived just about 2 miles away from the place where the Barber cemetery is located on West Hill, just east and above the town of Wardsboro, VT. The Brooks, Kimballs and Stows had pews in the church in Newfane, VT. The Barbers are not listed as pew owners- perhaps they attended church in Townshend or Wardsboro. The records of marriages for Calvin and Polly and several brothers are also in the Townshend records as is Calvin's death (Polly did not die in Townshend- she was living with her son in Saxtons River when she died, but is buried with Calvin in Townshend).
