Acquisition of Land from Virginia Northern Neck Land Grants:

  • P-66: Lewis Pence Executor of John Lienberger dec'd set forth that Leinberger departed this life seized in Fee Simple of 1,100 acres on Little Hawksbill in Frederick County and two other surveys on Little Hawksbill. Plots returned to George Hume Surv'r for 860 acres. John Lienberger by his Last Will (recorded in County Court of said County) devised land be divided among his children and Sister. Lewis Pence at request of parties, presented surveys agreeable to intention of the testator and satisfaction of devisees by Richard Rigg. 270 acres to Peter Lienberger one of the devisees adj. christian Grove.
