KY Peter Biggs I have found in the 1820, 30, and 40 Henderson Co, KY census.Unfortunately he's gone by 1850.His age fits with a Peter Biggs who is a known son of Edward Biggs from VA.

VA Peter Biggs is in the 1810 Botetourt Co, VA census then disappears - he's probably the same Peter in KY as I find no other Peter Biggs at all. Now, this Peter is also in the Botetourt Co, VA tax lists from 1802-1809 (with the exception of 1808).In the 1802 tax list he's listed as a son to Edward.Peter married a Mary Butcher in Botetourt on 5 Jan 1808.I notice some of the children's names of the above questionable siblings to include both Edward and Peter - coincidence???

Now a bit about Edward - Edward owned 65 acres of land on Rodes Creek in Amherst Co, VA - this is the same place John Biggs Sr was living (probably Edward's father - I'm descended from John Jr who fought in Rev War).He is also found in the 1783 and 1785 Amherst Co Heads of Families List with "9 white souls", none of which were tithable, so they were under 21.He sold his 65 acres in 1792, but was found to be living near the town of Fincastle in Botetourt Co in Aug 1790 per a reference in Annals of Southwest Virginia 1769-1800.He is also in Botetourt Co Tax Lists in 1795, 1796, and 1800-1805 (he was exempt in 1803, 1804, and 1805). Edward had at least three daughters and one son - Alice, Mary, Nancy, and Peter.Alice, Mary, and Nancy's marriage records list Edward as the father.Peter is listed in the 1802 Botetourt Tax List as a son to Edward.
