Pearl E. Meeker moved with her parents from Blue Creek, Ohio to Grangeville, Idaho in 1901. In 1905 the family moved to Alberta. Canada to homestead, they moved to Clarkston, Washington in 1923 where she married Jesse V. Ripley in 1927.She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars auxillary, the Clarkston Presbytarian Church, and Neighbors of Woodcraft Lodge.She had two sisters, Mrs Opal (Meeker) Sinnott of Falls City, Oregon and Mrs Velma (Meeker) Dillard of Spokane, Washington.Pearl E. Meeker's uncle was Ezra Meeker, famous for the Oregon Trail, founding Pyallop, Washington and Meeker Mansion in
