Mr. and Mrs. M.L. Hineman have issued invitations to the marriage of their daughter Pearle and Mr. Ralph Bowen which will take place at their home next Sunday, Nov. 5th at noon.

MARRIED Bowen-Hineman

Pearl Hineman, the beautiful and accomplished daughter of the Hon. and Mrs. Miles L. Hineman of the town of Tomah, was married Sunday noon, Nov. 5 to Mr. Ralph W. Bowen of Bangor. The bride was fitly clothed in white silk and carried bride's roses. Gardie Hineman acted as best man and Miss Emma Finger clad in white chiffon, acted as bridesmaid. After the ceremony an elaborate dinner was served which surpassed the reputation of Tomah for cooking and serving. Only the family and a few near friends were present, about forty people in all. Among those present were Mr. and Mrs. John McKinley, Mr. and Mrs. R.W. Jones, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar R. Bowen, Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Bowen, all of Bangor; Mr. and Mrs. Roy Bowen of Barron; Judson Nelson and wife, James Rowan and wife, Mrs. Sarah Rowan, Mrs. Jordan, Mrs. Frisch, Mr. E.J. Pingle, Mrs. John Pingle, Miss Amanda Lueck, Miss Mae Callahan, Mr. George and Miss Martha McMullen, Mr. Henry and Miss Nellie Cassells and Miss Cora Finger. The happy couple are taking an extended tour to Aberdeen, S. Dakota, Barron, Wausau and Chicago and about Christmas time will begin housekeeping at Bangor, where the groom has a flourishing business.


Nathan Hineman, son of Gardie HIneman, and Ralph and Pearle's nephew lived with them during the time of the 1920 census.


Mrs. M. R. Laird, Marshfield, and Mrs. W, W. Clark, Vesper, were elected vice-chairmen; Mrs. Ray Wiley, Nekoosa, secretary; and Mrs. John Baum, Pittsville, treasurer. The meeting set up the women's political group under direction of Sirs. Pearl Bowen, Augusta, a vice- chairman and organizer for the state Republican women's commit- tee. Executive committee members named are Mrs. A. D. Hill, Wiscon- sin Rapids; Mrs. Fred Speich, Pitts- ville; and Mrs. F. S. Walch, Pitts- ville. In an advisory capacity on the executive committtee are W. F. An- derson, Wisconsin Rapids, and Her- man Hoerl, Marshfield. Plans were laid for a rally at Pittsville in the community hall on Tuesday afternoon, November 1. Both men and women party mem- bers will attend for the program which will include music and lunch. Organization workers in the county precincts are: Precinct Workers Mrs. Conrad Konash, chairman, and Mrs. 0. D. Billings, Mrs. D. L.. Dunham, Mrs. I. Koller and Mrs. Harry Blount, Nekoosa; Mrs. V. M. Mrs. Ermon Bennett, Cranmoor; Mrs. George Smith, Gary; Mrs. Wil- liam Drollinger, Auburndale town; Mrs. S. G. Corey, Grand Rapids; Mrs. Orson Bean, Hanson; Mrs. E. Questions in the will be made up by the committee from among those sub- mitted by veterans' organizations covering knowledge requirements of the office. The committee also went on record, in the event the county board approves hiring the service officer, asking that the officer coop- erate fully with all existing agencies connected with relief.
