Person:Pauline Malatzky (1)

According to family legend, she died circa 1883 at about age 30 delivered of her 8th child who also died for lack of a wet nurse. Using S. Bryant's birth year of 1853 here.

Her 2nd child, Nathan Kovarsky, was born in 1867.

If her first child Yankel was born in 1866, that would have made her a mother at 13.

Regarding death year 1882, Jeff writes: "I believe she must have died in 1882, not 1883 as there is a Pauline on the family tree who was born in 1882 and they never named a child after a living relative."

Jeff adds: Pauline Malatzky is related to my Great Great Grandfather Schneir Zalmon Malatzky. I believe she was his niece but do not have clear proof of how they are connected. Only know they are connected. Schneir had a brother Zysko whom I believe was Pauline's father, but I base this on circumstantial evidence. Schneir and Zysko's father was Osher who was born in 1829. Schneir was born in 1837. So Pauline who might have been born in 1852 would be too old to be Zysko's sister barring an improbable circumstance.
