    Paul Frank Mattox, 97, of Alpharetta, Ga., died Wednesday October 3, 2012, at Emory Johns Creek Hospital in Johns Creek, Ga.

    He was born July 17, 1915, in Wolcott, to the late Ernest and Ida Matthew Mattox.

    Mr. Mattox was a barber for many years. He was owner and operator of Razor's Edge Barber Shop.
    On April 10, 1939, he married Arlene Bridgewater and she passed away on July 27, 2009.

    Mr. Mattox enjoyed ballroom dancing, fishing, gardening and time spent with family and friends.

    Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday October 7, 2012, at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary Cathedral; the Rev. Bob Klemme officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery.

    Preceded in death by siblings, Francis Mattox, Helen Stonehill, Aldine Antcliff, Russell Mattox, Lucy Graham and Perman Mattox; and a one grandson, Ronald J. Kubecka.
