Ernest W. Mattox Dies.
Ernest Winters Mattox, age 64, died Friday night at 9:30 o'clock at St. Elizabeth hospital, where he had been taken on Friday morning. He died as the result of a cerebral hemorrhage.
Born in Kentland, he was married to Ida Mary Mathew, of Goodland. Mr. Mattox was a retired farmer and a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Remington.
Surviving besides the widow are four sons: Francis and Perman of Reminigton; Russell, of Goodland, and paul, of Lafayette; and five daughters: Mrs. Frank Stonehill, of Chicago; Mrs. Harold Antcliff of Goodland; Mrs. Cecil Heater and Mrs. Richard Spencer of Lafayette, and Mrs. Raymond Graham of Remington.
