Paul W. Beezley, 81, of North Webster died at 3 PM Tuesday, May 14, in the Whitley County Hospital, Columbia City. Death was due to complications and he had been in failing health for sometime.

Mr. Beezley was born in Michigan July 19, 1886, the son of Paul and Mary (Cassel)Beezley. He was married to Maude Kunce who preceded him in death. In 1926, he married Hattie Reed Baugher and she survives. A retired painter, Mr. Beezley had resided in the North Webster area for 41 years, moving from Wilmot.

Surviving in addition to the widow are four sons, Leroy and Woodrow, both of North Webster. William of Chicago, and Malcom of Tucson, Arizona; three daughters, Mrs Everett (Lucille) Baker of Kimmell, Mrs. Verland (Jeanette) Bockman, North Webster, and Mrs. Doug (Virginia) Townsend of Largo, Fla; 19 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; one stepson, John Bauger of North Webster; two stepdaughters Mrs. Ellis (Leatha) Koher of North Webster and Mrs Eugene (Esther) Hanwood of Rt. 1, Syracuse; and two sisters, Mrs John (Sadie) Scott of Wilmont and Mrs. May Stoner of Fresno, California.

Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 PM Friday in the North Webster funeral home by Rev. D. D. Clark. Interment was in the Salem cemetery at Wilmont.
