Fa. Q. p.155 gives gen.data - b.date and name of wife. p.29 says he and bro. Prentice bought lots 20 & 21 in Halifax, VT. less that a mile south of Halifax center, in 1821. Parke "went to VT and built a house, barn and apparently a mill." (The house was still in existance in the 1960's) The other lot, bro. Prentice sold to his father Parke, Sr. in 1823, who left it by will in 1833 to Parke, Jr. Parke Jr. lived his entire life in Halifax and was Deacon in the Church there, and with wife and children, James A. and Courtland A. are buried in the cem. adjacent to the church on the east.
