Aline Croxton, 81, of Madisonville, died at 9:35 a.m. Wednesday, Oct 8, 1997, at Regional Medical Center.
Born July 5, 1915, in Marshall County, Ala. She was the daughter of the late James Edward Albright and Hattie Ilene Culpepper Albright.
She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Bible Learners Sunday school class, and was a retired nurse's aide who worked at Brown's Rest Home in Madisonville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Holbart Nicholas Croxton, on Nov. 20, 1995, one daughter, one Son, two sisters, and two brothers.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Wanda Wicks of Henderson, Ky.; two sons, Jimmy Croxton of Madisonville and Jerry Croxton of Central City, Ky.; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Liberty Baptist Church in Madisonville, with the Rev. Jeff Hendricks and the Rev. Doyle Eddings officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery in Anton, Ky.
Barnett-Strother Funeral Home in Madisonville will have visitation from 4 until 8 p.m. today, and 8 a.m. until noon Friday. Visitation will be at Liberty Baptist Church from 1 until service time Friday.
