I., 30 March 1739; drowned at Cuttyhunk 11 Nov 1799; m. in Dartmouth, now Westport, Mass. 15 Jan 1768 (Dartmouth records), Abigail Brownell, b. in Dartmouth 11 July 1749, d. there 8 Feb 1826, daughter of Paul and Deborah (Dennis) Brownell.

... Land Records at Westport Harbor indicate that Oliver Hazard and his wife lived on a part of the farm owned by Paul Brownell which Abigail inherited from her family.
