From the 1898 Genealogy of some of the descendants of Obadiah Wheeler of Concord:
- Made a freeman in 1641
- owned land in the centre of Concord
- lived for a time near the east end of the old burying ground
- had nine children, the first born in England, the last killed by Indians at Sudbury.
- claims his wife Susanna died in 1649 (others have her dying 4 Apr 1696).
- died Concord 1671.

Will of "Obadiah Wheeler of Concord", dated "sixt Day of the Eight month" [6 Oct] 1671, proved Charlestown 20 Dec 1671, mentions "six Children five Sonns, and one Daughter", "Joshuah Wheeler my first Borne", "Samuell Wheeler my second sonn", "my sonne Obadiah Wheeler", "sonn John Wheeler", "my youngest sonn, Josiah Wheeler", "my Daughter Susannah". 19 Dec 1671: administration of "imperfect will" of Obadiah Wheeler given to "Thomas Wheeler ye kinsman & John Wheeler the son ... according to ye peteon of the children".
