  2. ↑ The death of "Nichols", son of Jonathan, in 1731, is identified by Source:Peck, Ira B. Genealogical History of the Descendants of Joseph Peck, Who Emigrated with His Family to This Country in 1638, p. 135, as belonging to the uncle instead of to this Nicholas, although this Nicholas is known to have died young. There is a small discussion on the uncle's page, as it is not entirely clear if that arrangement is correct or not.
