Research Notes

  • Nelson was married bef 1823 as his brother Thomas mentions Nelson's male heirs in his 1823 Will. Assuming he is the Nelson Bowles in the 1810 and 1820 census records[1][2], which would be consistent with other known info, he was married before 1810, by which time he had 4 children under the age of 10.
