The sixth child and second son was Nathan, born in 1807 while the family still resided in Tennessee. He married in 1829 in Wayne County, Indiana, Nancy Leeson, a Virginia native and the daughter of James and Jemima Largent Leeson. Nathan and Nancy lived in the vicinity of Hillsboro in Henry County until their deaths in the 1870's. They were the grandparents of the Canaday brothers. Unfortunately, they never met their remarkable grandsons since both died before the grandsons were born. (Taken from Henry County Historicalog, Spring, 2001)
