whom died in infancy, one in his teens and three after arriving at maturity, leaving seven yet living - Mrs Elizabeth More, Unionville, Iowa, Thos H Smith, familiarly known as Tobe, of Harlan, Iowa, Mrs Lucy S Railsback, of Billings, Montana, Mrs Mattie Caylor, Centerville, Iowa, now in Los Angeles, Cali, Jacob Smith, Nyssa, Oregon, W L Smith, Bismarck, North Dakota, and Mrs Kate Abegg, Blakesburg, Iowa. She also leaves twenty-one grandchildren and fifty-two great-grandchildren. . . . besides the rearing of their own children, she raise her deceased daughter's son, Sammy Jay, now a successful business man of Los Angeles, Cali."
