Daily Record, Aug 21, 1952 MRS NANCY SHEAR

Mrs. Nancy Shear, 80, widow of Ed Shear, died Wednesday morning at the Wooster Community Hospital following a long illness. Her home was in Franklin Township.

Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Charles Mizer of Strausburg, Mrs. J. D. Middaugh of Wooster, Mrs. C. A. Alleshouse of Baltic, Mrs. Thomas Head of Dover, Mrs. Fred Hawke of Burbank, Mrs. Nathan May of Loudonville; three sons, Charles Middaugh of Plainfield OH, Ira J. Middaugh of Chicago, Vernon Middaugh of Baltic; one sister, Mrs. Phoebe Hershberger of Sugar Creek; one brother, Benjamin J. Bricker of Woodland O.; number of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 pm at the Pim Funeral Home with Rev. William O. Blue, pastor of the Wooster Nazarene Church, officiating. Burial will be made in the Overton Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday evening from 7 til 9 pm.
