    I am looking for info on Cornelius Shanahan. Born in Ireland circa
    1945 [s/b 1845] possibly in County Claire.
    Cornelius immigrated to Oil City,Pa, Venango County, sometime before
    1880. Died 1891 in Oil City.
    He married Ellen Foran or Crain apparently in Ireland.. They had 2
    sons in Oil City,Pa., Michael and Thomas Shanahan. His son Michael married
    Anne M. Keane and his son Thomas married Bridget Mary Power. Both sons
    married in Oil City.
    Cornelius probably had at least two brothers, Michael and Patrick
    Shanahan. His brother Michael Shanahan married Ellen Hunt or Hart on May 25,
    1867 in St. Joseph's Church in Oil City, and his brother Patrick Shanahan's
    wifes name was Ellen.
