• Pages 138-40. 21-22 March 1738 [1739]. Ludwick Stone of Orange County to Michael Rineheard of same. Lease and release for £80 current money. 600 acres, being the remains of Ludwick Stone's divident of land purchased out of the Mesenuting tract granted to Jacob Stover. (signed) Ludwick Stone. Wit: Timos. Terrell, John Newport, Abraham Carr. 22 March 1738 [1739]. Acknowledged by Ludwick Stone. [Orange County Virginia Deed Book 3, Dorman, pg. 10].

• Pg. 227-230. 25 Sept. 1745 - Indenture between Mathias Solsor of Orange County and Michael Rynard of same... lease and release for £40.. 100 acres of land on the North side of the River of Shanando.... I am seeking information about the children of Michael REINHART (various spellings) who died in March, 1751. He had several children, including Mattig, Hans, Ludwig, Daniel, Christian (or Christiana), Catherine and Julianna. He was one of the original settlers of the Shenandoah Valley. I would like to hear from anyone with knowledge of his children...where they went, who they married, their children's names. We also can find no record of his wife, tho' the inventory of his estate includes a "widow's third". Thanks.Emily S. Hinderliter, Dothan, AL
