Thomas married Polly Morrow. He is often listed as the son of Thomas Morrow because he shows up in his estate records. However, he is named as “Matthew Morrow and wife”, consistant with how Thomas's daughters are listed (i.e. "Husband's name and wife").

Hugh Morrow is the likely father because the migration patterns match. The theory is not a new one; several old books say Hugh’s son Matthew married his first cousin Polly Morrow. [If Hugh is the son of George as appears likely, Matthew and Polly are not cousins]
