(Note: Matthew Leach was a son-in-law of William and Jean Gullett, he married their daughter Mary 'Polly' Gullett).

- Deed: 16 October 1804: Matthew Leach and wife Mary 'Polly' convey "a tract of 52 3/4 a. in the Sinks, described as 2 1/2 miles from the courthouse" to Matthew Alexander [Monroe County, (West) Virginia Deeds, (B21, A:283, 412)]. [1]
