Notes From Jeannie Murray Mullin September 18, 2002:
What a beautiful picture of our Grandmother! I am so pleased to get it.Her coloring looks as I remember her. I don't particularly remember thedress she is wearing, but I do remember the necklace she has on as I wasalways fascinated by it, and she and I talked about it. The beads lookedlike they had water in them and it floated around when they were moved. You can tell Daphne and her son for me that I think it is a beautifulresemblance. I remember one time when she came to see us that we went andbought a long runner of linen and she drew threads out of it andhemstitched it to make a runner or scarf for the top of our piano orlibrary table. And I remember her playing with me and sitting in the tallgrass and then getting up to show me the seats we had made where we hadmashed down the tall grass. Thank you for stirring up my memories. Herhair was white by the time I knew her. My dad's hair was black, butBert's was lighter. Don't really know about her hair color when she wasyounger.
Notes from Alta Mary Murray Moses September 19, 2002:
I remember the beads she had on with liquid in them and I seem toremember we were told it was water from Niagara Falls.
