Obituary[1] 7 Apr 2003 CHARLESTON -- Mary F. (Williams) Clement, 81, wife of the late Frederick W. Clement, died April 6, 2003, at a Bangor hospital surrounded by her family. She was born April 28, 1921, in Charleston, the daughter of George and Grace (Lane) Williams.
She was a graduate of Higgins Classical Institute in Charleston and the Eastern Maine General Hospital Nursing School. She retired as the Director of Nursing at Hibbard Nursing Home in Dover-Foxcroft in 1984. She loved fishing, dice games, bingo, crossword puzzles and playing 83 with her family.
She is survived by children, George Clement, Paula Smith and Kim Clement, all of Charleston, James Clement and his wife Phyllis, of Linnius, and Theron Clement and his wife, Vickie, of Charleston; her stepchildren, Frieda McLaughlin of New Hampshire, Frederick Clement and his wife Joan, of Florida, Ada Nason and her husband Eugene, of New Hampshire, Beverly Wood and her husband, James, of North Carolina; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many, many nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by two sisters, Augusta (Tede) Scribner and Dorothy Rowe; and three brothers, Edwin, Leon, and Keith Williams.
