"Mary Tapp (again), b. say 1622, d. between 1 April 1669 (birth of a daughter) and 1 Nov. 1670, when her husband remarried; m., as his 1st wife, by 1645, William2 Fowler, son of William1 Fowler of New Haven and Milford. Anne Tapp's will, in which are mentioned several of their children, is further evidence of this marriage. Assuming that Mary married soon after she reached age 20 and had her last child in her mid-40s, she would have been born about 1622, or just before her parents moved to Bennington."
