Disputed Lineages

The 1530 Visitation of Kent has Thomas Roberts already remarried in 1530 to a certain Sackfield, making it impossible that he had a daughter Mary born in 1535 by Elizabeth Fremingham. (The only children of Thomas Roberts and Elizabeth Fremingham mentioned in the 1530 Visitation are Walter, Thomas, Joan, and Alice.) The 1574 Visitation of Kent gives Thomas Roberts and Elizabeth Fremingham a daughter Mary married to "Cheyney of Woodhay", as well as Walter, Thomas, John, and Joan.
