Mary Riggs Day was born at Milford, Conn., about 1644. This is the first daughter born to the house of Riggs in this country and a special interest attaches to her. Unfortunately, we know but little of her history and practically nothing of her descendants. She married George Day and by him had three sons, as shown by legal proceedings, and probably other children.
