A nursing sister in World War 1 during which she is believed to have lost her fiance. She continued nursing until she retired. She was a tall, strong, handsome woman always extremely interested in affairs on the homestead farm where she was born, also in her many nephews and nieces. Lois Reynolds Kerr, and her sisters were often invited to visit her in Niagara Falls N.Y., where she would take them sightseeing. She worked as a nurse at the International Paper Mills but several times took us to the Shredded Wheat Factory where they would select in the cafeteria a meal of bananas, shredded wheat and cream. When Lois graduated from the University of Toronto Willmina gave her a gift that Lois has always treasured; a topaz, triangular and large, set in platinum and suspended on a platinum chain ...........
