The will of "Mary Warner of Hatfeild [sic] Broadoke alias Hatfeild Regis in the Countie of Essex widow", dated 12 May 1627 and proved 17 July 1627 mentions "Thomas Warner my eldest sonne", "his wife Joane", "John Warner my sonne", "Rose my daughter", "my daughter Elizabeth", "Andrew Warner my sonne" and numerous grandchildren, including "Thomas Sanford", "Mary Sandford the daughter of my daughter Rose" and "the other Seven Children of my daughter Rose" (this latter being in conjunction with the bequest to Mary Sandford, and thus likely meant to include Thomas Sanford).
The will of "John Purchas", dated 27 March, 1585 and proved 11 October 1585 mentions "Margaret my wife", "John Purchase my eldest son" and "his three children John, William and Alice", "George Porcas my youngest son", "John my younger son", "Thomas my son", "Mary my daughter, wife of John Warnard", "the two children of the said Mary my daughter, namely, ... Thomas Warner and Mary Warnare", "the daughter of Thomas my son", and others.
