The will of "John WARNER of Hatfeild [sic] Broakoke alias Hatfeild Kings, Co. Essex, yeoman" is dated "16 July, 12 James I (1614)". It mentions "Mary my wief", "Elizabeth WARNER my daughter", "Thomas, John and Ezechiell three of the sonnes of Ezehciel SANDFORD my sonne in lawe", "Andrewe WARNER and Edward WARNER my sonnes", "Thomas WARNER my grandchild", "John my sonne", "Thomas my sonne", and "Rose my daughter". His son Thomas was named executor and received the residue of the estate, implying that he was the eldest (surviving) son. Andrew and Edward received yearly allowances, implying that they were minors in 1614.
