    pg 46, fn 120, 1860 census for Mary "Sarah" Parkison Downey indicates her age as 68 and birthplace KY. This results in a calculated birthdate of 1791-92. This data conflicts with genealogical evidence which shows family did not arrive in KY until 1794-1795. [Note: also land records show they did not leave PA until 1793.] Genealogical Chart in Citizens Libray in Washington PA, prepared by Joanne Graham Hawkins, whose husband was a descendant of Mary Parkison Downey, indicated the Mary "Polly" Parkison Downey was born in 1794 in PA. Genealogical Society of Southwestern PA, Pedigree Charts, Vol. 10, p. 1884. Also, Charles Downey, a son of Mary Parkison Downey, ststes in 1900 Illinois census for Westfield Twp, Clark Co, that his mother was born PA.
