Mt. Tabor Cemetery lists James W. Parkison w/ no dates (but addendum in back says buried elsewhere) with Margaret Parkison (wife of JW) 1802- 8/1/1851.

cemetery record indicates James W was age 60y 2m 1d when he died 4 Aug 1851. [NOTE: This differs from the 1850 census where James or Margeret probably told the enumerator he was 55 years old. I am not sure which date is the most accurate. James W. died away from home in Clark Co., Illinois with his sister who should have known how old he was.].

James Parkinson, of Coles County, Illinois, bought 40 acres in Coles County, Illinois in the North West quarter of the Southest quarter of Section 9, in Township eleven North of Range nine East. Does not say what he paid but purchase was according to provisions of the 24 Apr 1820 "Act making further provision for the sale of Public Lands" (3 Stat 566); Document # 13163, Accession # IL2990__.468.
