    4. Mary Mellen (Simon1) was born perhaps at Malden, based on an 18-21 age range for marriage, and the fact her siblings were mostly born in Malden. Also, there is the issue of missing court records from that place for that time period [1674-1677]. She died at Framingham on 13 March 1727. She married at Sherborne on 6 December 1695 Thomas Gleason of Framingham.

    Thomas Gleason married second, at Oxford, Massachusetts, on 10 June 1729 Mercy Hovey. He died at Oxford, on 11 January 1732.
