Mary (Lee), born Lyme, CT 23 April 1678 (LVR, p.241); died Colchester, CT between 18 June 1759 and 17 June 1761 (writing and proving of will, Colchester Probate #2568). (Joshua) Hempstead visited her, "In evening was at Col Stephen Lee's to visit Mrs. Riggs, widow of Capt. Riggs, late of Derby. She is my kinswoman and own sister to Col. Lee. her first husband was Joseph Beckwith and her second was Deacon Sterling of Lyme" (Hempstead Diary, p.6840.
